Originally from Navarre, Spain, Sara has been living in Ireland for 9 years. She has been teaching for over 10 years, in various age groups and capacities such as schools, creches, after-schools, mental health associations, private settings, and orphanages and schools in Asia. Sara worked with an Association for Mental Health in Spain for 6 years, where she taught adults with various needs and abilities. While in Vietnam, Sara taught in elementary schools to children from 3 to 8 years old. Sara also spent time in Thailand, where she taught and cared for children and teenagers from various socio-economic backgrounds and with various learning needs. Sara took part in a Thai community health and environmental programme, where she was involved in the building and maintaining of eco-homes for the community.

Since Sara has had the opportunity to join the Waldorf Steiner community, she has gained many experiences that have helped her to understand the benefits of the Waldorf methodology. Sara completed Soulscape with Blathu, a Foundation Year in Anthroposophy in 2022, and has completed Year 1 with the S.W.I.M. (Steiner Waldorf Inar Measc) CPD course in Clare.

In her free time, Sara enjoys dancing, spending time with friends and loved ones, and cooking (all of them combined is best!). Sara is always happy to learn and discover.
